Area Sales Manager- FMCG (Karnataka | HQ: Bangalore)
We are seeking an experienced FMCG sales professional to drive sales and market share growth across Karnataka for our product portfolio (Hair Care, Edible Oils, Spices, Coconut Oil).
HQ- Bangalore
Area - Entire Karnataka
Key Responsibilities:
- Achieve monthly & quarterly sales targets
- Manage distributors (ROI, stock planning, claims, secondary sales)
- Expand distribution and ensure strong General Trade coverage
- Execute trade promotions & retail activation
- Lead and coach field sales team
- Track competition, pricing & market trends
- Maintain strong retailer & channel relationships
- Provide accurate sales reports & insights
Requirements:
- 8-10 years FMCG sales experience (General Trade)
- 3-5 years team handling experience
- Strong distribution management & leadership skills
- Graduate/MBA preferred
Compensation:
Fixed salary + performance incentives + medical & travel allowances + statutory benefits.
Salary ranges- up to 10 lac pa
