Job Description
Job Title: Area Sales Manager (ASM) Kochi
Experience: 1215 Years (Minimum 23 Years as Area Sales Manager)
Location: Kochi
Industry: FMCG Personal Care (Up to 30% exposure in Food Industry acceptable)
Notice Period: Maximum 30 Days
Role Objective
To drive primary and secondary sales, expand market penetration, and strengthen distribution across the Delhi market while ensuring achievement of business targets and brand visibility.
Key Responsibilities
- Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets for the assigned geography.
- Manage and develop distributors to ensure effective coverage and stock availability.
- Drive secondary sales and retail expansion across GT channels.
- Implement trade schemes, promotions, and visibility initiatives effectively.
- Monitor competitor activities and market trends in South Kerala.
- Lead and mentor a team of Sales Officers / Territory Sales In-charges.
- Ensure timely collections and control outstanding payments.
- Track KPIs such as productivity, numeric distribution, weighted distribution, and range selling.
Key Requirements
- 1215 years of total sales experience in FMCG.
- Minimum 23 years of experience as Area Sales Manager.
- Strong exposure to Personal Care category (Food industry exposure up to 30% acceptable).
- Must have handled South Kerala market extensively and possess strong distributor network knowledge.
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and team management.
- Strong negotiation, analytical, and leadership skills.
