What you’ll do at Ather

  • You will play a key role in the growth story ahead of us. In such anascent industry, imagine being the first few to build a network and learn how to sell an Electric Vehicle in India.
  • Drive sales through all the company-owned retail centres and retail partners in your area. In the long term, you will be responsible for building teams and systems that ensure growth in sales while maintaining exceptionally high levels of customer experience, strong relationships with retail partners and healthy operational profits. At company-owned stores, your challenge would be to drive operational excellence in activities ranging from local demand generation to maintaining customer experience and driving sales. With retail partners, you must ensure alignment with our goals and vision while ensuring that their business thrives and we fulfil our commitments. In short, you own the business in your region.

Here’s what we’re looking for

  • Be able to analyse the sales funnel, break it down into problem statements, find solutions and motivate partners and teams toimplement them. Additionally, you should enjoy building teams and empowering them so that they can keep pushing the boundaries of growth.
  • Have an appetite for steep ramp-up plans and the drive to deliver against them. An in-depth understanding of the tech/automobile retail is a definite plus.
  • Analysing Information - Great problem solvers who bring curiosity and a passion for deep-diving into and analysing information from different sources.
  • Embracing change - Can cope with the uncertainty and ambiguity of a young organisation positively.
  • Understanding people - Good listeners who can adapt themselves to different situations and share feedback and suggestions openly and constructively.
  • Convincing People - Amazing negotiators and persuasive communicators who can adopt perspectives that suit the situation while also standing for ideas that support the organisation.
  • Interacting with people - An obvious requirement for a salesperson! Go-getters who can network and interact with a host of people,within and outside Ather, and use this data to shape decisions.
  • Managing tasks - Multi-tasking wizards who know the importance of planning, prioritising, and organising before jumping to execution.

What you bring to Ather

  • A Postgraduate or Graduate degree in Business or Engineering from a Tier I/Tier II institute.
  • We are looking for highly driven individuals with 8-10 years ofexperience in B2C/Channel sales.
