Job Summary:
We are looking for a dynamic and results-driven Area Sales Executive to drive sales and market expansion for our rice products in the assigned territory. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing distributor and retailer networks, achieving sales targets, and ensuring strong brand visibility in the market.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales & Business Development: Achieve primary and secondary sales targets by developing strong market penetration strategies.
Distributor & Retailer Management: Appoint, manage, and strengthen relationships with distributors, wholesalers, and retailers to maximize sales.
Market Expansion: Identify new business opportunities, onboard new retailers, and expand product reach.
Promotional Activities: Execute trade promotions, schemes, and product sampling to drive sales growth.
Stock & Supply Chain Management: Ensure adequate stock availability and timely order fulfillment at distributor and retail levels.
Competition Analysis: Track competitor activities, pricing strategies, and consumer preferences to devise effective sales plans.
Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders to enhance brand loyalty.
Reporting & Data Management: Maintain sales reports, market insights, and distributor performance records for management review.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
2-5 years of experience in rice sales or FMCG (Food/Agro products) sales.
Strong knowledge of the rice market, distribution channels, and pricing trends.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
Ability to manage multiple distributors and retail partners effectively.
Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned territory.
Preferred Experience:
Experience in rice sales (Basmati, Non-Basmati, Organic, etc.) or similar agro products.
Knowledge of regional consumer preferences and distribution
