Area Legal Manager

Key Responsibilities

1. Experience in Legal Due Diligence, Title Search Report of properties offered as security for loans as per Karnataka State Laws,
2. Independently vet and scrutinize Title Search Reports (TSR), Title Certificates, and Encumbrance Certificates (EC).
3. Draft, review, and vet mortgage deeds and other security documents,
4. Review land conversion orders, khata Certificates, property documents, EC to ensure regulatory compliance,
5. Good knowledge about multiple types of collateral offered against loan,
6. Coordinate with external legal vendors, panel advocates, and valuers to obtain Title Search Reports within time,
7. Must have hands-on experience in Mortgages, LAP (Loan Against Property) and Housing Finance.
8. Good command over Karnataka Land Laws, Succession Laws, and Property Laws.

Education: LLB / LLM from a recognized university.

Experience: Minimum 5 to 10 years of relevant post-qualification experience (PQE).
