Wood Inc. Design Studio was conceptualized in 2014 by Architect Anita Mohan, building on over a decade of experience in architectural design and technically challenging projects where functionality and design work hand in hand. Rooted in Chennai, Wood Inc. brings a unique design approach that merges scale, proportions, textures, colors, and cultural influences. The studio offers custom furniture and product designs that complement architectural projects, ensuring a seamless blend of functionality and aesthetic appeal.

This is a full-time on-site Architect role located in Chennai. The Architect will be responsible for designing and executing architectural projects, developing creative solutions to fulfill client requirements, and integrating architectural elements with complementary furniture and products. The role requires overseeing designs from conceptualization to project completion, ensuring functional and visually aesthetic outcomes while meeting project timelines.

• Proficiency in Architecture and Architectural Design to conceptualize and create functional, aesthetic designs.
• Software Development and Integration skills to effectively utilize architecture and design tools for project execution.
• Proven expertise in Project Management, including planning, coordination, and execution of architectural projects.
• Attention to detail, creativity, and the ability to execute project-specific customizations.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills to interact with team members, clients, and vendors.
• Relevant educational background in Architecture or related fields; a degree in Architecture preferred.
• Experience with furniture or product design is a plus.
