Architect (High End Architecture Projects)

A design-led architectural practice in Worli, Mumbai is hiring an Architect with an experience range of around 3-6 years, to work on a diverse portfolio of core architectural projects, including residential, commercial, hospitality, and mixed-use developments. This role is suited for professionals with strong architectural fundamentals, hands-on experience in building-scale design and documentation, and the ability to contribute across concept, design development, and execution stages.

Project Typology

You will work primarily on architecture-led projects, including:

• Luxury residential buildings, private homes, and villas
• Commercial and workplace developments
• Hospitality architecture such as hotels, clubs, and leisure projects
• Large-scale mixed-use and urban development projects
• Building-scale projects with integrated interior design scope

Key Responsibilities

• Develop architectural concepts, layouts, and design strategies for building-scale projects.
• Prepare architectural drawings, 3D models, and presentation material from concept to execution stages.
• Translate client briefs into functional and well-resolved architectural solutions.
• Prepare detailed construction drawings, specifications, and documentation for core architectural scope.
• Work with structural, MEP, landscape, and allied consultants to support coordinated architectural outcomes.
• Ensure design compliance with building codes, zoning regulations, and statutory requirements.
• Participate in client presentations and incorporate feedback into design development.
• Conduct site visits to review execution progress and provide architectural clarifications.
• Collaborate with contractors and site teams during construction stages.
• Manage multiple project deliverables with attention to timelines, quality, and detail.
• Stay updated on construction methods, materials, sustainability practices, and architectural trends.

Requirements

• Bachelors degree in Architecture.
• 36 years of professional experience with a strong focus on core architectural projects.
• Demonstrated experience in residential, commercial, hospitality, or mixed-use architecture.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, and relevant design / visualisation tools.
• Strong understanding of architectural planning, construction detailing, and documentation.
• Ability to manage multiple deliverables and coordinate across disciplines.
• Strong communication, presentation, and problem-solving skills.
• Working knowledge of construction practices, building codes, and sustainability principles.

Work Schedule

• Location: Worli, Mumbai
• Working Days: Monday Friday (10:00 AM 6:30 PM)
• Saturday: Half day
