Overview of the Role

As an AI Architect specializing in Generative Models and Responsible AI, you will play a key role in designing, developing, and integrating next-generation AI solutions that propel HCLTechs clients and platforms forward. This role requires deep technical expertise, a strategic mindset, and a passion for advancing ethical and scalable AI. Youll be instrumental in shaping robust AI architectures that align with global standards and drive transformative outcomes for clients across industries.

Detailed Responsibilities

• Architect, design, and implement state-of-the-art generative AI models (including GPT, VAEs, GANs) and transformer-based solutions for complex enterprise applications.
• Lead the development and optimization of scalable AI infrastructure, ensuring seamless integration with existing systems and platforms.
• Develop and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines tailored for AI/ML and agentic governance workflows to accelerate deployment and lifecycle management.
• Ensure the implementation of Responsible AI principles, including security protocols, ethical guidelines, and compliance with global standards.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teamsdata scientists, MLOps engineers, security experts, and business stakeholdersto deliver end-to-end AI solutions.
• Drive continuous improvement and innovation in AI architectures, leveraging best practices in data science, MLOps, and LLMOps.
• Provide technical mentorship and guidance to junior engineers and contribute to knowledge-sharing initiatives.
• Oversee system integration and support troubleshooting to ensure optimal performance and reliability of AI solutions.

Skill Requirements

• Demonstrable expertise in generative models (GPT, VAEs, GANs), transformer architectures, and AI frameworks such as Google ADK.
• Advanced proficiency in designing and managing scalable AI infrastructure, including CI/CD pipelines and tools for agentic governance.
• Strong knowledge of Responsible AI, security protocols, system integration, and ethical AI deployment.
• Solid foundation in Data Science, MLOps, and LLMOps.
• Proven experience in architectural design and solution delivery in complex, large-scale environments.
• Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or a related technical field.
• 7+ years of relevant industry experience, including at least 3 years in an AI architect or equivalent leadership role.

Other Requirements (Optional)

• Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and deployment of AI solutions in distributed environments.
• Certifications in AI/ML, cloud architecture, or information security are a plus.
• Strong communication skills and ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Exposure to global regulatory frameworks for AI ethics and governance.
