Architect (GFC & detailed working drawings)

A leading architectural practice is looking to hire an Architect with 3-4 years of strong experience in GFC (Good for Construction) drawings, detailed documentation, and interdisciplinary coordination for projects based in Greater Kailash, Delhi. This role involves working on complex, large-scale projects and preparing & coordinating closely with MEP and Structural teams to deliver accurate, buildable construction documents.

Project Typology

You will contribute to projects such as:

• Commercial and institutional buildings
• Residential and mixed-use developments
• Large-scale architectural and urban projects
• Projects requiring high levels of technical detailing and coordination

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and review GFC architectural drawings in line with project standards and specifications.
• Develop detailed working drawings, including plans, sections, elevations, and construction details.
• Coordinate with MEP and Structural consultants to resolve clashes and ensure interdisciplinary integration.
• Ensure drawings align with design intent, local building codes, and regulatory requirements.
• Participate in design coordination meetings and incorporate consultant and client feedback.
• Support site teams by responding to RFIs and providing drawing clarifications.
• Maintain accurate documentation, drawing registers, and version control systems.
• Assist in constructability reviews and value engineering exercises when required.

Requirements

• Bachelors degree in Architecture (mandatory).
• 34 years of professional experience in architectural practice.
• Strong knowledge of architectural detailing and construction methods.
• Hands-on experience with MEP and Structural drawings.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD (mandatory).
• Understanding of GFC documentation standards.
• Ability to read and interpret architectural, structural, and MEP drawings.
• Strong communication, coordination, and documentation skills.
• Ability to manage multiple deadlines with attention to detail.

Work Schedule

• Location: Greater Kailash, Delhi
• Working Days: Monday to Saturday (10:00 AM 6:30 PM)
• Weekly Off: 2nd & 4th Saturday
