Need Good Home Health Care Billing Experience

• Experience: Generally 10+ years in US healthcare billing and AR, with at least 2-4 years in a leadership role.
• Skill Set: Proficiency in billing software (e.g., Epic, eClinicalWorks), ICD-10/CPT coding knowledge, and excellent communication for payer interaction.

A Manager for Accounts Receivable (AR) in US Healthcare Billing

oversees the revenue cycle, focusing on reducing outstanding payments from insurance companies and patients. Key responsibilities include managing team performance, ensuring compliance, handling claim denials, and optimizing cash flow. They require strong knowledge of US healthcare RCM, medical coding, and billing systems.

Key Responsibilities & Competencies

• Revenue Cycle Management (RCM): Overseeing end-to-end billing processes, from charge entry to payment posting and denial management.
• AR Follow-up & Collections: Leading teams to follow up on unpaid claims, ensuring timely reimbursement from insurers (Medicare, Medicaid, private insurance).
• Denial Handling: Analyzing, appealing, and resolving denied claims to maximize revenue.
• Reporting & Analytics: Monitoring key performance indicators (KPIs) like DSO (Days Sales Outstanding) and AR aging, and reporting to senior management.
• Compliance: Ensuring compliance with HIPAA, payer contracts, and standard medical billing protocols.
• Team Leadership: Mentoring staff, setting targets, and managing workflows in a BPO or provider environment.
