Apps Dev Intmd Programmer Analyst - C11 - PUNE

This Sr Java Full stack Developer role is within Treasury, Tax and Forecasting Technology (TTF). The overall objective of this role is to perform applications system analysis and programming activities for an inhouse product used for master data management called Maphub. MAPHUB is a Citizen-led Data Management Toolkit that enables business users to manage, govern and distribute data or business rules in a self-service way.

This is a highly hands-on role and candidates with solid programming background in multiple technologies, UI framework such as Angular and databases such as MongoDB, Oracle, J2EE etc would be preferred. This role will give an opportunity to play a critical role in a variety of complex and highly visible projects contributing to Citi’s commitment of self-served application configurations/mappings. You will participate in discussions to ideate, analyse requirements, propose, and implement solutions end to end.

The overall objective of this role is to work on applications system analysis and programming activities for an inhouse product used for master data management called Maphub. This will involve working closely with the business and SMEs to prioritize business requests, manage the development work slate and ensure timely delivery on committed items complying to all aspects of software development according to the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC).

Responsibilities:

• Utilize knowledge of applications development procedures and concepts, and basic knowledge of other technical areas to identify and define necessary system enhancements, including using script tools and analyzing/interpreting code
• Consult with users, clients, and other technology groups on issues, and recommend programming solutions, install, and support customer exposure systems
• Apply fundamental knowledge of programming languages for design specifications.
• Analyze applications to identify vulnerabilities and security issues, as well as conduct testing and debugging
• Serve as advisor or coach to new or lower level analysts
• Identify problems, analyze information, and make evaluative judgements to recommend and implement solutions
• Resolve issues by identifying and selecting solutions through the applications of acquired technical experience and guided by precedents
• Has the ability to operate with a limited level of direct supervision.
• Can exercise independence of judgement and autonomy.
• Acts as SME to senior stakeholders and /or other team members.
• Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.

Qualifications:

• 6+ Year Software development experience.
• 4+ Year Java/J2EE programming experience.
• 2+ Year experience in Oracle RDBMS, NoSQL database
• Expertise in enterprise web application tools/components – Spring, Angular, Eclipse, MyBatis.
• Experience in Unix/Linux.
• Proficiency with SQL tuning, stored procedure, writing packages, triggers, functions and procedures.
• Experience with data conversion / migration
• Excellent trouble shooting and debugging skills.
• Knowledge of Legal entity management is a plus.

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree/University degree or equivalent experience
