Job Description
Position : Applied Art Faculty
Educational Qualification
- Master of Fine Arts (MFA) in Applied Art / Visual Communication / Graphic Design or equivalent from a recognized university.
- PhD / NET qualification will be preferred.
Teaching Experience
- Minimum 5 years of teaching experience in Applied Art / Graphic Design / Visual Communication at a recognized university or institute.
Industry Experience & Technical Skills
- Minimum 1 year of industry experience in:
- Advertising (AD) Design
- Branding & Visual Communication
- Motion Graphics and Digital Content Creation
- Proficiency in the following software:
- Adobe Photoshop
- Adobe Illustrator
- Adobe InDesign
- Adobe After Effects (Motion Graphics)
- Adobe Premiere Pro
- CorelDRAW (as applicable)
Portfolio Requirement
A strong professional portfolio showcasing:
- Advertising campaign design
- Layout & typography
- Illustration
- Motion graphics/video composition
- Digital & print media projects
Additional Preferable Skills
- Ability to teach both manual (sketching, illustration) and digital skills
- Knowledge of design trends, UI/UX basics, storyboarding for motion graphics, and pre-press processes
- Strong communication, mentoring, and classroom management skills
