Job Title: Applied AI Consultant Clinical Research (CRO)

Location: Bangalore

We are a Clinical Research Organization (CRO) producing multiple clinical study protocols and reports every month. We maintain a strong internal database of historical protocols and reports, and want to build a practical AI system that can draft and modify new documents using this existing data.

What this role is

• Designing a practical, production-ready AI solution
• Using existing LLMs (commercial or open-source) with retrieval from our document database
• Automating and accelerating protocol/report drafting with human review
• Working within a regulated, document-heavy environment

What we are looking for

• Experience building applied AI / RAG systems for real business use
• Strong understanding of document workflows, not model research
• Comfortable using off-the-shelf LLMs rather than training or inventing new models
• Background in regulated domains (clinical, pharma, healthcare, regulatory, legal) is a strong plus
• Ability to deliver simple, reliable, maintainable solutions

What this role is NOT

• Not an AI research or data scientist role
• Not deep model training or experimental ML
• Not prompt-only or chatbot experimentation
