Project Role : Application Tech Support Practitioner
Project Role Description : Act as the ongoing interface between the client and the system or application. Dedicated to quality, using exceptional communication skills to keep our world class systems running. Can accurately define a client issue and can interpret and design a resolution based on deep product knowledge.
Must have skills : DevOps
Good to have skills : AWS Administration, Docker (Software)
Minimum 5 year(s) of experience is required
Educational Qualification : Graduate Must have any one of AWS Certified DevOps Engineer Terraform Associate certification
Summary: As a DevOps professional, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth functioning of the software/application/cloud infrastructure. Your typical day will involve collaborating with cross-functional teams, automating processes, and deploying code to production environments. Roles & Responsibilities: Middleware Devops Devops support Engineer, working with build and deploy various platforms infrastructure as code on openshift and AWS. Writing automation code for provisioning and operating infrastructure in AWS cloud and openshit platforms. Building and maintaining continuous deployment processes. Writing automation and integration of complex processes in and between multi datacenter and cloud infrastructures. Facilitating the overall software development process and major operations in an organization. Keeping track of issues and shortcomings,Designing the software development plans and overall blueprint. Work with platform engineers to integrate infrastructure as code into pipelines. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and maintain the software/application/cloud infrastructure. - Automate processes using tools like Ansible, Chef, or Puppet to improve efficiency and reduce manual errors. - Deploy code to production environments using tools like Jenkins, Git, or Docker. - Monitor and troubleshoot issues in the software/application/cloud infrastructure, ensuring high availability and reliability. - Continuously improve the infrastructure by implementing best practices and staying up-to-date with the latest technologies. Professional & Technical Skills: Must have any one of AWS Certified DevOps Engineer ,Terraform Associate certification Must have 3+ years of AWS: CloudFormation, CDK, CloudWatch, CloudTrail, Lambda, S3, EC2, IAM, Kinesis, Code*, Elasticsearch Must have Version Control: GitLab/GitHub, Must have Automation/Build: Terraform, AWS CodeBuild/CodePipeline, Docker, Ansible, Artifactory Must have 3+ years of Containers/Orchestration: Docker, VMWare, Rancher, Kubernetes, OpenShift, AWS EKS, ECS/Fargate,Podman and Buildah, aws imagebuilder Must have Monitoring & Logging: Splunk , Elasticsearch, AWS Opensearch, Dynatrace, DataDog, Kibana, Grafana, Prometheus Must have 2+ years of Create containerized applications that run in the Red Hat OpenShift Container Platform environment Must have 2+ years Port existing applications into the Red Hat OpenShift Container Platform environment. - Must To Have Skills: Strong understanding of DevOps principles and practices. - Good To Have Skills: Experience with AWS Administration and Docker (Software). - Experience with automation tools like Ansible, Chef, or Puppet. - Experience with deployment tools like Jenkins, Git, or Docker. - Experience with monitoring tools like Nagios, Zabbix, or Prometheus. - Solid understanding of Linux/Unix operating systems and shell scripting. Additional Information: - The candidate should have a minimum of 6-8 years of experience in Middleware DevOps. - The ideal candidate will possess a strong educational background in computer science or a related field, along with a proven track record of delivering impactful solutions.
