Project Role Description : Act as the ongoing interface between the client and the system or application. Dedicated to quality, using exceptional communication skills to keep our world class systems running. Can accurately define a client issue and can interpret and design a resolution based on deep product knowledge.

Summary: As an Application Tech Support Practitioner for Mainframe Scheduling, you will be responsible for providing ongoing support to clients, utilizing your exceptional communication skills and deep product knowledge to accurately define and resolve issues. Your typical day will involve interfacing with clients and interpreting their needs to design effective solutions. Roles & Responsibilities: MAINFRAME SCHEDULING Primary skill should be Mainframe Scheduling Resource should have knowledge of mainframe scheduling tools (CA Workload Automation -ESP) Scheduling the batch jobs in distributed environments (AIX, Linux, Windows) in the mainframe Resource should experience in handing service now requests/tasks. Analyze the Production and Disaster Recovery Environments. Performs problem tracking, diagnosis and root-cause analysis, replication, troubleshooting, and resolution for complex issues. Install ESP Agent on Mainframe DR servers. Attend project status conference calls. Documents all relevant end-user interactions and steps taken to resolve incidents. Communicates status of issue resolution to internal customers. Multi-task and work independently, while applying logic and discretion. Applies in-depth knowledge of application support and an understanding of best practices. Install Connect:Direct on Mainframe DR servers. Research jobs/scripts and Connect:Direct configuration settings on Mainframe environments. Provide ongoing support to clients, acting as the interface between the client and the system or application. Utilize exceptional communication skills to accurately define client issues and interpret their needs to design effective solutions. Maintain deep product knowledge to provide quality support and ensure world-class systems are running smoothly. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve complex issues and improve system performance. Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in Mainframe DevOps to provide innovative solutions for sustained competitive advantage. Professional & Technical Skills: Mainframe Scheduling The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required. In- depth knowledge in information systems and ability to identify, apply, and implement best practices. Experience with Mainframe environment. Understanding of key business processes and competitive strategies related to the IT function. Ability to plan and manage projects. Ability to solve complex problems by applying best practices. Proven experience in file transfer or data integration roles. Preferred Qualifications: Banking or financial services experience. Experience with OPS/MVS Experience with Service Now Experience with Changeman ZMF Installation and Maintenance experience in Cloud and Container environments. Must To Have Skills: Strong experience in Mainframe Scheduling Good To Have Skills: Experience in Cloud Tech Support and Application Support. Excellent communication skills to accurately define client issues and interpret their needs. Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve complex issues and improve system performance. Strong problem-solving skills to provide innovative solutions for sustained competitive advantage. Additional Information: - The candidate should have a minimum of 4-6 years of experience in Mainframe Scheduling DevOps. - The ideal candidate will possess a strong educational background in Information Technology Operations, Computer Science, or a related field.
