Summary: For IBM DB2 Database Administration, you will be responsible for providing ongoing support to clients, accurately defining and resolving issues using your deep data base administration knowledge. Your typical day will involve communicating with clients, interpreting and designing solutions, and ensuring world-class systems are running smoothly. Roles & Responsibilities: - Provide ongoing support to clients for IBM DB2 Database Administration. -Managing day to day database administration tasks effectively. - Communicate effectively with clients to ensure world-class systems are running smoothly. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve complex issues and improve system performance. Professional & Technical Skills: - Must To Have Skills: Expertise in IBM DB2 Database Administration. - Good To Have Skills: Knowledge of other database technologies such as Oracle or SQL Server/MySQL/MSSQL/Postgres SQL. - Strong understanding of database architecture - Experience with performance tuning and optimization techniques. - Familiarity with backup and recovery procedures. - Solid grasp of SQL and other query languages. Additional Information: - The candidate should have a minimum of 3 years of experience in IBM DB2 Database Administration.
