Rubrik Administration Role Description Provide Subject matter expert support, responsible for ensuring availability and performance of Pure storage Infrastructure. Responsible for troubleshooting and problem solving. Responsible for improvement and Administration of Pure Storage. Must have skills Rubrik Administration. Rubrik backup technologies NetBackup Administration Good To have skills: SAN technologies (HDS, Pure, IBM,) Exposure to Cloud Platform. Cohesity, DPS, Commvault, data protector. Key Responsibilities Strong expertise in Rubrik Administration. Work to deliver high availability, security, manageability, and reliability of the managed backup services. Experience with / exposure to storage SAN technologies (HDS, Pure, IBM,) Experience with / exposure to data protection products such as Rubrik and NetBackup Work with team to validate and enhance documentation of procedures and processes. Perform daily backups of all designated servers, applications, and data stores. Monitor the Rubrik environment for errors, alerts, and potential issues. Diagnose and troubleshoot basic Rubrik backup and recovery problems. Perform user account management and access controls within the Rubrik platform. Restore data from backups to meet user requests and disaster recovery scenarios. Participate in the development and implementation of data protection policies and procedures. Document processes and procedures related to Rubrik administration. Work closely with other IT staff to ensure a seamless integration of Rubrik with the overall IT infrastructure. Technical Experience Min 5 years exp in Rubrik installation, configuration, monitoring dashboard, deploying agents, Integration with Cloud in bucket configuration, troubleshooting backup failures. Working experience with Rubrik Backup Technology. Hands on Experience in Rubrik Backup & Restore (VM, SQL Snappable, SAP Hana, Oracle Snappable). Hands on Experience in Rubrik Security cloud (RSC) Troubleshoot Rubrik Backup Failures or performance related issues In Rubrik, should be able to create new SLA, File Set, Backup Schedule, Retention, Archiving to Cloud, Replication Strong Experience in DC backup implementation, solution and Design Experience in Configuration of Cloud Archive with Azure with the help of backup tool. Hosts with backup tool, Protecting VMWare, Views, Archive and Recovery, Replication and DR, sizing basics. Strong knowledge on multiple tools, Specially NextGen backup tool Understand DC wise backup tool implementation, transformation, migration. Approach to cloud transformation, Managing, backup Cluster Capacity and Space Usage Snapshot Scheduling Deep dive. Backup Configuration, recovery, disaster recovery. All type of backup configuration knowledge (Database, MSSQL, VM, FS etc.), Strong knowledge of NextGen backup technology like Cohesity, Rubrik, DPS, Commvault, data protector and NetBackup.
