Project Role:?Network Security Ops Manager Project Role Description: Desired candidate will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the clients network security infrastructure. He/she will lead a team of network security operations engineers/administrators and work closely with other IT teams to ensure the smooth operation, security, and scalability of our network security environment. This role requires a seasoned professional with extensive experience in network security operations, strong leadership skills, and the ability to drive efficiency and continuous improvement in our network security environment. Work Experience :12+ years Work Location : Pune/Banglore Key Responsibilities:? Lead the day-to-day operations of the network security infrastructure, Network security including monitoring, troubleshooting, and incident response. Ensure that network security services are available and perform within agreed-upon service level agreements (SLAs). Oversee the response to network-related incidents and outages, ensuring timely resolution and minimal impact on business operations. Establish incident management processes and procedures to streamline response and escalation workflows. Identify potential bottlenecks, vulnerabilities, and areas for improvement, and take proactive measures to address them Lead and mentor a team of network operations engineers/administrators, providing guidance, support, and professional development opportunities. Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous learning within the team. Manage relationships with network service providers and vendors, ensuring compliance with SLAs and contract terms. Evaluate vendor performance and make recommendations for improvements or changes as needed. Technical Experience:? 12+ years of experience in network security operations roles, with significant experience in a leadership/senior leadership capacity. In-depth working experience in Network security technologies. Strong Knowledge of Network security (e.g. Palo alto Firewall, Panorama, Prisma, Global Protect, VPN, DNS/DHCP) and Load Balancers (e.g. F5/Netscaler) Good understanding of networking and wireless fundamentals like TCP/IP, LAN, WAN, SDWAN, ACLs SSL, NAT, IPsec, GRE, TLS, DNS, DHCP, Wireless technologies and routing protocols like BGP, OSPF, EIGRP,VRRP,HSRP Hands-on experience with network monitoring and management tools (e.g., IXIA, AlgoSec Solarwinds, Hawkeye, Splunk,Tenable Nessus). Proven experience in incident management, change management, and capacity planning. Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead and motivate a team. Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to analyze complex network issues. Relevant certifications (CCIE Security, CCNP Security, PCNSE, F5 and ITIL) are a plus
