Summary: As an Application Support Engineer, you will act as software detectives, providing a dynamic service identifying and solving issues within multiple components of critical business systems. Your typical day will involve troubleshooting and resolving software issues, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring the smooth functioning of critical business systems. Roles & Responsibilities: - Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform. - Responsible for team decisions. - Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions. - Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams. - Troubleshoot and resolve software issues within critical business systems. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and solve issues. - Ensure the smooth functioning of critical business systems. - Manage and prioritize support tickets to meet SLAs. Professional & Technical Skills: - Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Palo Alto Networks Firewalls. - Good To Have Skills: Experience with Network Security Operations. - Strong understanding of network security principles and best practices. - Experience in configuring and managing Palo Alto Networks Firewalls. - Knowledge of network protocols and technologies. - Familiarity with security incident response and vulnerability management. - Ability to analyze and troubleshoot network security issues. - Excellent problem-solving and communication skills. Additional Information: - The candidate should have a minimum of 5 years of experience in Palo Alto Networks Firewalls. - This position is based in Pune. - A BE/BTech in Computer Science or equivalent IT experience is required.
