Summary: As an Application Support Engineer, you will act as software detectives, providing a dynamic service identifying and solving issues within multiple components of critical business systems. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth functioning of applications and resolving any technical glitches that may arise. Roles & Responsibilities: - Expected to perform independently and become an SME. - Required active participation/contribution in team discussions. - Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems. - Assist in incident management and resolution. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and resolve application issues. - Monitor and analyze application performance to identify areas for improvement. - Document and maintain incident reports, including root cause analysis and resolution steps. - Provide technical support and guidance to end-users. - Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to enhance application support services. Professional & Technical Skills: - Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Incident Management. - Good To Have Skills: Experience with Infrastructure Service Management. - Strong understanding of ITIL incident management processes and best practices. - Knowledge of incident response and escalation procedures. - Familiarity with incident tracking tools and ticketing systems. - Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. - Effective communication and interpersonal skills. - Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines. Additional Information: - The candidate should have a minimum of 2 years of experience in Incident Management. - This position is based at our Kolkata office. - A 15 years full time education is required.
