Summary: As an Application Support Engineer, you will be responsible for identifying and solving issues within multiple components of critical business systems using Oracle Procedural Language Extensions to SQL (PLSQL). Your typical day will involve troubleshooting, debugging, and resolving technical issues related to the application. Roles & Responsibilities: - Provide technical support for critical business systems, including troubleshooting, debugging, and resolving issues related to Oracle Procedural Language Extensions to SQL (PLSQL). - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve complex technical issues, ensuring timely resolution and minimal disruption to business operations. - Develop and maintain technical documentation, including troubleshooting guides, knowledge base articles, and standard operating procedures. - Participate in the design, development, and testing of new features and enhancements, ensuring adherence to best practices and standards. Professional & Technical Skills: - Must To Have Skills: Strong proficiency in Oracle Procedural Language Extensions to SQL (PLSQL). - Good To Have Skills: Experience with other database technologies such as MySQL or SQL Server. - Solid understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies. - Experience with version control systems such as Git or SVN. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think creatively and strategically. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment. Additional Information: - The candidate should have a minimum of 2 years of experience in Oracle Procedural Language Extensions to SQL (PLSQL). - The ideal candidate will possess a strong educational background in computer science, information technology, or a related field, along with a proven track record of delivering high-quality technical solutions. - This position is based at our Mumbai office.
