Summary: As an Application Support Engineer, you will act as software detectives, providing a dynamic service identifying and solving issues within multiple components of critical business systems. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth functioning of applications and providing technical support to end-users. Your typical day will involve troubleshooting and resolving application-related issues, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and contributing to the enhancement of application performance and stability. Roles & Responsibilities: - Expected to perform independently and become an SME. - Required active participation/contribution in team discussions. - Contribute in providing solutions to work-related problems. - Troubleshoot and resolve application-related issues reported by end-users. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve technical issues. - Provide technical support and guidance to end-users. - Contribute to the enhancement of application performance and stability. - Document and maintain knowledge base articles for issue resolution. - Proactively identify potential issues and implement preventive measures. Professional & Technical Skills: - Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktop Administration. - Good To Have Skills: Experience with AAAP (Accenture Advanced Analytics Platform). - Strong understanding of virtualization technologies and Citrix infrastructure. - Experience in managing and troubleshooting Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops. - Knowledge of application packaging and deployment using Citrix technologies. - Familiarity with Citrix NetScaler for load balancing and secure remote access. - Solid understanding of Windows Server operating systems and Active Directory. - Experience in scripting languages such as PowerShell for automation tasks. Additional Information: - The candidate should have a minimum of 3 years of experience in Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktop Administration. - This position is based at our Kolkata office. - A 15 years full-time education is required.
