Summary: As an Application Support Engineer, you will act as software detectives, providing a dynamic service identifying and solving issues within multiple components of critical business systems. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of applications and providing technical support to end-users. Your typical day will involve troubleshooting and resolving application issues, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and contributing to the improvement of system performance and stability. Roles & Responsibilities: - Expected to perform independently and become an SME. - Required active participation/contribution in team discussions. - Contribute in providing solutions to work-related problems. - Troubleshoot and resolve application issues reported by end-users. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to investigate and resolve complex technical problems. - Provide technical support and guidance to end-users, ensuring timely resolution of issues. - Contribute to the improvement of system performance and stability. - Document and maintain knowledge base articles for issue resolution and troubleshooting guides. Professional & Technical Skills: - Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Linux Operations. - Good To Have Skills: Experience with Linux. - Strong understanding of Linux operating systems and command-line tools. - Experience in troubleshooting and resolving Linux-related issues. - Knowledge of shell scripting and automation tools. - Familiarity with cloud platforms and technologies. - Solid grasp of networking concepts and protocols. - Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. Additional Information: - The candidate should have a minimum of 3 years of experience in Linux Operations. - This position is based at our Bengaluru office. - A 15 years full-time education is required.
