Summary: As an Application Support Engineer, you will be responsible for identifying and solving issues within multiple components of critical business systems using your expertise in UNIX Shell Scripting. Your typical day will involve troubleshooting, debugging, and resolving complex technical issues to ensure system stability and performance. Roles & Responsibilities: - Provide technical support for critical business systems, including troubleshooting, debugging, and resolving complex technical issues. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve system issues, ensuring system stability and performance. - Develop and maintain UNIX Shell scripts to automate system tasks and improve system efficiency. - Monitor system performance and proactively identify potential issues, implementing solutions to prevent system downtime and data loss. - Document system issues and resolutions, maintaining accurate records for future reference. Professional & Technical Skills: - Must To Have Skills: Expertise in UNIX Shell Scripting. - Good To Have Skills: Experience with Oracle Procedural Language Extensions to SQL (PLSQL). - Strong understanding of system architecture and design principles. - Experience with system monitoring and performance tuning tools. - Solid grasp of system security and data protection best practices. Additional Information: - The candidate should have a minimum of 3 years of experience in UNIX Shell Scripting. - The ideal candidate will possess a strong educational background in computer science or a related field, along with a proven track record of delivering impactful solutions. - This position is based at our Hyderabad office.
