Summary: As an Application Support Engineer, you will act as software detectives, providing a dynamic service identifying and solving issues within multiple components of critical business systems. Your typical day will involve troubleshooting and resolving technical issues, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring the smooth operation of applications and systems. Roles & Responsibilities: - Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform. - Responsible for team decisions. - Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions. - Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams. - Ensure the smooth operation of critical business systems. - Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in a timely manner. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and solve issues. - Contribute to key decisions and provide solutions to problems. - Manage and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines. Professional & Technical Skills: - Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Site Reliability Engineering. - Strong understanding of system architecture and infrastructure. - Experience with incident management and problem-solving. - Knowledge of monitoring tools and techniques. - Good To Have Skills: Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure. - Familiarity with scripting languages like Python or Bash. - Understanding of DevOps principles and practices. - Knowledge of containerization technologies like Docker or Kubernetes. Additional Information: - The candidate should have a minimum of 7.5 years of experience in Site Reliability Engineering. - This position is based in Coimbatore. - A Graduate degree is required.
