Summary: As an Application Support Engineer, you will act as software detectives, providing a dynamic service identifying and solving issues within multiple components of critical business systems. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth functioning of applications and providing technical support to end-users. Your typical day will involve troubleshooting and resolving software issues, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring timely resolution of incidents and service requests. With your strong problem-solving skills and technical expertise, you will contribute to the overall efficiency and effectiveness of our applications. Roles & Responsibilities: - Expected to build knowledge and support the team. - Participate in Problem Solving discussions. - Troubleshoot and resolve software issues reported by end-users. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve application-related problems. - Ensure timely resolution of incidents and service requests. - Contribute to the development and maintenance of knowledge base articles. - Assist in the testing and deployment of application updates and enhancements. - Provide technical support and guidance to end-users. - Continuously improve application support processes and procedures. Professional & Technical Skills: - Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Service Desk Management. - Good To Have Skills: Experience with Service Desk Knowledge Management. - Strong understanding of IT service management principles and practices. - Knowledge of incident management and problem management processes. - Familiarity with ITIL framework and best practices. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. - Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks effectively. - Analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities. Additional Information: - The candidate should have a minimum of 0-2 years of experience in Service Desk Management. - This position is based at our Bengaluru office. - A 15 years full time education is required.
