Summary: As an Application Support Engineer, you will act as software detectives, providing a dynamic service identifying and solving issues within multiple components of critical business systems. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth functioning of the Oracle Cloud Financials system and providing support to end-users. Your typical day will involve troubleshooting and resolving technical issues, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and contributing to the improvement of system performance and stability. Roles & Responsibilities: - Expected to perform independently and become an SME. - Required active participation/contribution in team discussions. - Contribute in providing solutions to work-related problems. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues. - Provide support to end-users and address their queries and concerns. - Monitor system performance and stability, proactively identifying and resolving any issues. - Document and maintain technical documentation, including troubleshooting guides and knowledge base articles. - Participate in the testing and implementation of system enhancements and upgrades. - Stay updated with the latest industry trends and best practices in Oracle Cloud Financials and application support. - Assist in training end-users on system functionalities and best practices. Professional & Technical Skills: - Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Oracle Cloud Financials. - Good To Have Skills: Experience with Oracle E-Business Suite Financials. - Strong understanding of financial processes and workflows in Oracle Cloud Financials. - Experience in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues in Oracle Cloud Financials. - Knowledge of SQL and PL/SQL for data analysis and troubleshooting. - Familiarity with Oracle Cloud Financials modules, such as General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and Cash Management. - Ability to analyze and interpret complex business requirements and translate them into technical solutions. - Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. Additional Information: - The candidate should have a minimum of 3 years of experience in Oracle Cloud Financials. - This position is based at our Bengaluru office. - A Bachelor's degree is required.
