Summary: As an Application Support Engineer, you will act as software detectives, providing a dynamic service identifying and solving issues within multiple components of critical business systems. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth functioning of the infrastructure service management. Your typical day will involve troubleshooting and resolving application-related issues, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring the timely resolution of incidents and service requests. With your expertise in infrastructure service management, you will contribute to the overall stability and performance of the systems. Roles & Responsibilities: - Expected to perform independently and become an SME. - Required active participation/contribution in team discussions. - Contribute in providing solutions to work-related problems. - Troubleshoot and resolve application-related issues within critical business systems. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and solve complex problems. - Ensure the timely resolution of incidents and service requests. - Monitor and maintain the performance and availability of applications. - Identify opportunities for process improvements and automation. - Provide technical support and guidance to end-users. - Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies. - Assist in the implementation of new applications and systems. - Document and maintain accurate records of incidents and resolutions. Professional & Technical Skills: - Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Infrastructure Service Management. - Good To Have Skills: Experience with Cloud Infrastructure. - Strong understanding of ITIL processes and best practices. - Experience in incident management and problem resolution. - Knowledge of application monitoring and performance tuning. - Familiarity with IT service management tools such as ServiceNow. - Excellent troubleshooting and analytical skills. - Effective communication and interpersonal skills. Additional Information: - The candidate should have a minimum of 3 years of experience in Infrastructure Service Management. - This position is based at our Bengaluru office. - A 15 years full-time education is required.
