Summary: As Support Engineer, you will act as software detectives, providing a dynamic service identifying and solving issues within multiple components of critical business systems. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth functioning of the applications and providing support to end-users. Your typical day will involve troubleshooting and resolving technical issues, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and contributing to the improvement of application performance and stability. Roles & Responsibilities: - Oversee the discovery and inventory of IT assets across the organization. - Ensure accurate and up-to-date records of hardware and software assets - Analyze asset data to provide actionable insights. - Generate reports on asset utilization, compliance, and cost savings. - Expected to perform independently and become an SME. - Required active participation/contribution in team discussions. - Contribute in providing solutions to work-related problems. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues. - Provide support to end-users and address their queries and concerns. - Monitor application performance and stability, and take proactive measures to improve them. - Perform root cause analysis for incidents and implement preventive measures. - Document and maintain technical procedures and user guides. - Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies. - Assist in the testing and deployment of application updates and enhancements. Professional & Technical Skills: - Proficiency in using Flexeras ITAM tools and platforms. -Strong understanding of IT asset management principles and best practices. - Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Asset Management, Asset Life Cycle Management. ITAM tool, Asset discovery - Strong understanding of software development lifecycle and ITIL processes. - Experience in incident management and problem resolution. - Knowledge of SQL and database management systems. - Familiarity with scripting languages such as Python or PowerShell. - Good To Have Skills: Experience with IT asset management tools. - Recommendation: Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure. Relevant certifications: in IT asset management or related areas (e.g., ITIL, IAITAM). Additional Information: - The candidate should have a minimum of 3 years of experience in Asset Management. - This position is based at our Bengaluru office. - A 15 years full-time education is required.
