Summary: As an Application Support Engineer, you will act as software detectives, providing a dynamic service identifying and solving issues within multiple components of critical business systems. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth functioning of applications and resolving any technical issues that may arise. Your expertise in Storage Area Networks (SAN) Architecture and Design will be essential in maintaining the integrity and performance of the systems. Roles & Responsibilities: - Expected to perform independently and become an SME. - Required active participation/contribution in team discussions. - Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and resolve application issues. - Monitor and maintain the performance and availability of critical business systems. - Identify and analyze root causes of application failures and implement appropriate solutions. - Provide technical support and guidance to end-users, ensuring their issues are resolved in a timely manner. - Document and maintain accurate records of all support activities. - Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to continuously improve the support process. Professional & Technical Skills: - Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Storage Area Networks (SAN) Architecture and Design. - Good To Have Skills: Experience with Cloud Infrastructure. - Strong understanding of storage area networks (SAN) architecture and design principles. - Experience in configuring and managing SAN storage arrays. - Knowledge of storage protocols such as Fibre Channel, iSCSI, and NFS. - Familiarity with virtualization technologies and their impact on storage systems. - Ability to troubleshoot and resolve storage-related issues. - Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. Additional Information: - The candidate should have a minimum of 3 years of experience in Storage Area Networks (SAN) Architecture and Design. - This position is based at our Bengaluru office. - A 15 years full time education is required.
