Job Summary: We are looking for a Backup Engineer to join our team and manage our backup infrastructure using Rubrik solutions. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of backup technologies and proven experience in designing, implementing, and maintaining backup systems. Responsibilities: Design, implement, and maintain backup solutions using Rubrik. Develop backup and recovery strategies to ensure data protection and availability. Perform regular backups, restores, and disaster recovery tests. Monitor backup jobs and troubleshoot any issues that arise. Optimize backup infrastructure for performance, reliability, and cost-effectiveness. Collaborate with other IT teams to integrate backup solutions with existing systems and applications. Document backup policies, procedures, and configurations. Provide training and support to end-users and IT staff on backup technologies. Stay updated on emerging trends and technologies in backup and recovery. Requirements: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. Proven experience as a Backup Engineer, with expertise in Commvault, Veeam, and/or Rubrik. Strong knowledge of backup and recovery concepts, methodologies, and best practices. Experience with storage systems, virtualization technologies, and cloud platforms. Excellent troubleshooting and analytical skills. Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously. Strong communication and collaboration skills.
