Role: OS Administration Job Title: Virtualization, SDDC, Windows, Citrix, Azure & Hardware Summary: Window skills: Experience and deep skills for troubleshoot on the below services. ADDS ? Active Directory Domain services ? - Deep knowledge on FSMO (Flexible single master operations) ? - Sites and services ? - Troubleshoot on replication and Diagnostic on Domain controllers. ADCA ? - Managing certification authority ? - Creating and managing in MS as well as 3rd party like Digi cert. ? - Troubleshoot on CA. ADFS ? - Understanding federation services and troubleshoot the services. Server Virtualization: Installing and configuration of Esxi 5.X and 6.X Configure DNS and routing information for an ESXI host. Install a Guest Operating System in a virtual machine. Creating a vCenterserver inventory Data Store objects. Creating a Standard and Distributed switch with a virtual machine port group. Add a VM Kernel port group to Standard switch. Deploy a virtual machine from a Template. Cloning a Virtual Machine that is Power on. Modifying a Virtual Machine like increase the size of VMDK file, adjust memory allocation of VM, expand a Thin-provision a virtual disk etc., VM migration by using vMotion, DRS, HA and FT. Setting up and troubleshooting features like HA/FT/DRS with EVC for the Virtual Machines for business continuity. Creating Snapshots on VMware Changing the configuration of VMware on need basis. Converting Physical machines to Virtual Machines using VMware Converter (P2V) Converting Virtual Machines running on Workstation to VMs on ESX Server (V2V) VM vcenter update manager by using vCenter Server. vCenter Server level permissions and Troubleshooting issues relating to vmotion such as compatibility issues. Migration of Standard switch to DV Switch. Troubleshooting ESXi and VM performance based on Cpu, Ram, Network, Storage using VMA. Resource pools Platform service controller and CA issues. Shares and limits VMware SRM. VMware NSX. VMware View. VMware vShield. vCloud Director. vSAN and vvols. VRA, VROPS. Application Virtualization: Installation of Citrix Presentation server 4.0/ XenApp 4.5/5.0/6.x/ XenDesktop 7.6 & 7.15 XenServer 6.X/7.X & Citrix Client Tools Administration of Citrix XenApp Farms/Sites. Configuration of Citrix server policies, Load Management and Printers in the Farm. Expertise in creating Citrix Streaming Profiles and Publishing Applications to users in Citrix XenApp 4.5/5.0. Citrix Xenapp Web Interface/Storefront Administration Via IIS Experience in administering Windows Terminal Server, Group Policy management and Active Directory environment. Experience and deep knowledge on PVA and NetScaler. (MPX/VPX/SDX/CDX) In-depth knowledge in dealing with Windows Registry and File Systems. Providing Comprehensive documentation for system builds. Design data storage, movement, orchestration solutions on Azure. Design, co-ordinate and execute proof of concepts, guidance on business scenarios and deployment guidance. Building a technical and security architecture in Azure. Selecting a migration approach to lift and shift the workloads to Azure or architecting a Greenfield development and/or production platform for new applications. Good experience on Infrastructure automation, build automation and deployment automation. Roles & Responsibilities: In depth knowledge on all Windows services and Administration experience. Excellent and deep knowledge in troubleshooting skills on Hyper-V and SCVMM. Experience of managing multiple versions of Windows Servers on large systems. Experience Practical experience in monitoring. Knowledge of reporting and query tools and practices. Good interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills. Technical documentation skills. Able to prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment. Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment. Prepare the RCA and Check the SLA as per project requirements. Understanding the team scope and each engineer working skills and collaboratively work with management ongoing operations. Train the team in terms of technically and management. Steam line the new projects and understand the latest trends based on technology Focused on automation and analyses the ticketing tool to suppress the admin work. More focus on Business finance count Professional & Technical Skills: - Must Have Skills: Experience in Vmware Virtualization Administration. - Good To Have Skills: Experience in cloud technologies such as AWS or Azure. Take part in 24x7 Shift Rotations including Morning, Evening and Night Shifts. Work out of hours evenings, nights, weekends, bank holidays at reasonable request to perform production changes. Travel to other locations when required. Able to work from home occasionally. Be flexible to work with other platforms. Improve the Knowledge in different and latest technologies. Work based on the project requirements, Attended the client meeting and understand the Business requirements. Prepare the reports to understand the project status and inform same to Top management based on hierarchy. Must follow the SLA. Daily communicate the team and understand the work status. Additional Information: Working experience: Minimum 96+ months of Windows Server, VMware, Hyper-V & Automation Experience. Experience must have been gained in a production environment.
