Role Description

We are looking for a skilled Application Support and DevOps engineer to maintain and enhance the real-time data systems powering one of the worlds leading investment banks as our customer. You will ensuring the stability and availability of critical market data platforms used by trading and business teams. Performs pre-market checks, provides L2/L3 support, and investigates issues related to application functionality and data quality, coordinating with vendors and internal teams. Maintains documentation and continuously improves support processes in a global, high-pressure environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform pre-market checks of critical applications and infrastructure to ensure readiness for trading hours
• Provide L2/L3 support for both application functionality and market data content
• Investigate and resolve data issues (missing/stale data, pricing discrepancies), escalating to vendors or internal teams when needed
• Create and maintain runbooks, FAQs, and support documentation for helpdesk teams
• Own and drive the incident management process for Market Data-related issues
• Coordinate with end users, vendors, and internal teams until full resolutio

Required Profile

• 4-6 years of experience in application/production support
• Strong understanding of application configuration and troubleshooting
• Hands-on experience with Windows environments
• Exposure to DevOps practices (GitHub, CI/CD pipelines)
• Experience in remote/global support environments and vendor coordination
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Ability to work independently and solve complex issues
• Fluent in English

Preferred Experience

• Experience supporting market data platforms (Refinitiv, Bloomberg, FactSet, Datastream)
• Knowledge of trading or market data desktop applications
• Familiarity with vendor distribution systems (TREP, Elektron, Activ, etc.)
• Scripting skills (Python, PowerShell, Perl)
• Basic understanding of Linux environments
• Knowledge of capital markets and financial instruments (multi-asset exposure is a plus)
• Prior experience in the Market Data domain
