Position Title: Application Support Analyst

Location: Chennai/Pune/Mumbai/Bangalore

Experience range: 3- 6 years

Responsibilities

Working experience of supporting applications in
Extensive hands-on experience with the Murex GUI, back-end infrastructure, Murex services, Workflow (pre-trade and post-trade), and batch structure are essential.
Knowledge of trade, deliverable and event life cycles in Murex.
Extensive experience with some version of UNIX. Linux preferred but not essential.
Knowledge of clusters is highly desirable.
Database experience Sybase ideal but other DB types are acceptable.
Ability to troubleshoot and think outside the box to resolve rarely seen problems.
Familiarity with the functions and structures of XSL, XML, FIX, MXML.
Ability to read code is essential. Pearl and shell scripts are used extensively in the customized Murex environment, as well as a small amount of Java.
Being able to modify existing code or writing your own code is desirable.
Proven track record of delivering to financial institutions.
Product knowledge - Fixed Income and OTC Derivatives.
