About the Role

We are looking for an experienced ASIC Verification Lead to join a high-performance semiconductor development team working on advanced ASICs used in high-end servers and high-performance computing systems. The role involves leading verification activities for complex ASIC components such as network controllers, routers, and cache coherence controllers.

Key Responsibilities

• Understand ASIC architecture and microarchitecture by reviewing specifications and collaborating with architecture and design teams.
• Define and implement verification strategies and methodologies for complex ASIC designs.
• Develop and maintain verification plans, test plans, and verification specifications.
• Build and enhance verification environments using UVM, SystemVerilog, and C++.
• Implement constraint-random and coverage-driven verification methodologies.
• Develop drivers, monitors, checkers, and coverage models using SystemVerilog.
• Debug simulation failures and analyze coverage results to improve test quality.
• Ensure coverage targets are achieved within project timelines.
• Recommend improvements in verification tools, processes, and methodologies.
• Mentor junior engineers and ensure maintainable and reusable verification code across projects.
• Coordinate verification tasks and support a small team when required.

Required Skills

• Strong experience in ASIC / SoC functional verification.
• Expertise in UVM verification methodology.
• Proficiency in SystemVerilog and C++ for developing verification environments.
• Experience with constraint-random and coverage-driven verification techniques.
• Strong knowledge of simulation tools and coverage analysis tools.
• Experience creating detailed test plans and identifying functional defects.
• Strong debugging and problem-solving skills in complex verification environments.
• Experience improving verification processes and methodologies.
• Exposure to task coordination or mentoring junior engineers.

Qualification

• Bachelors or Masters degree in Electronics & Communication Engineering or related field.

Location Requirement

• Candidates should be willing to work onsite in Bangalore (Whitefield).
