Application Specialist TMS - Payment Operations

JOB PURPOSE

Our Digital Transformation is gaining pace, leveraging technology and business improvement approaches to drive innovation, improve service quality and reduce costs across our 83 locations and 8,000+ staff.

Our Digital Operations teams partner with Business Leaders and Functional Experts to select, deploy, improve and embed technology solutions which makes life better for our clients and staff alike.

We are looking for an experienced project manager, with a strong ability to connect technology and business teams, to join our Digital Project Management Team. You will join a global team of 150+ professionals, located across the globe to drive our transformation agenda.

Within the role, the successful applicant will work primarily in driving the further development and implementation of the Kyriba Treasury Management System & Payment Factory used by TMFs Global Client Business Service Lines.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Partner with Business Leaders to scope projects which solve business problems

- Partner with the business to ensure business problems are clearly documented and understood

-Apply professional experiences and TMF best practice to shape a project approach which will deliver desired outcomes

- Design effective governance and reporting structures which fit the size & complexity of projects

-Build robust business cases which articulate the purpose, cost and benefit of a project

Manage project governance to enable effective decision making and on time / on budget delivery

- Build & maintain project plans to monitor progress and identify challenges

- Create steerco packs to update stakeholders at operational and leadership levels

- Own project financials (cost & benefit), providing monthly reporting on progress vs business case

- Manage project resourcing from Operations, Technology, Business & 3rd party suppliers

- Manage project risks, issues, assumptions and dependencies

Bridge between technology and business teams to enable project delivery

- Effectively articulate technology topics in a simple manner to business users

- Manage expectations within the business of how technology will impact their operations

- Ensure all project team members understand what is expected of them through the project

- Develop comprehensive transition plan into business-as-usual project closure with the business and operational excellence team

Partner with Business and Operational Excellence Leaders to deliver effective change management which sees technology embedded in to daily operations

- Shape a change management strategy in partnership with the operational excellence team

- Ensure change management plans are aligned to technical milestones

- Work with the operational excellence team to deliver and implement the change management strategy and bring end users on the journey across the business

1. Part of a geographically diverse team that provides day-to-day support of the Kyriba application and its interfaces towards global banks and other specialist fund and capital markets systems. Interacting with Kyriba Support to solve issues and enable new features.
2. Assist in establishing connectivity of Kyriba towards banks used by TMFs client business globally. This includes interaction with the local business teams on their requirements, liaising with the banks on their file format specifications, system configuration, testing and deployment.
3. Part of a global, virtual, support team that works together to deliver a consistent service to end-users irrespective of their location or time-zone. Collaborate with sales and client servicing teams to ensure consistency of service delivery towards our customers.
4. Continuously developing knowledge of the Kyriba application and international banking practices. Assist in training for newly onboarded TMF offices and new users.
5. Support the on-boarding of new business into the banking processes and the Kyriba application. Comfortable working across a wide range of cultures and time zones.
6. Preparation of process documentation and assist in annual ISAE3000/3402 audit exercises.

PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS

1. Subject Matter Expert Banking, Internal Finance or Treasury systems (Kyriba preferred) Familiarity with SWIFT payment and bank statement standards (ISO20022/MT messages)
2. An affinity with business application configuration and troubleshooting
3. Experience in Alteryx Analytics, Data Science & Automation Tool is a plus Report Writing tools such as PowerBI is a plus Experience with formal change management processes, including requirements elicitation, specification documentation, project co-ordination & planning
4. Min 3-5 years of experience administrating Treasury or Banking applications or as a Kyriba super-user.
5. Treasury or Finance background and an understanding of international banking practices. Interest and experience in automation and reporting utilizing a variety of technologies (BI) would be highly desirable.
6. Fluent in both written and spoken English.
