Job Role & Responsibilities

Conduct comprehensive application security assessments to verify adherence to security standards and best practices, ensuring coverage of areas such as authentication, authorization, session, data protection, secure coding and security compliance etc...
Coordinate extensively with application and SDG teams to establish, maintain, and deliver application security services.
Serve as a subject matter expert (SME) by guiding application teams on security-related matters, including Application Security processes and architecture design.
Contribute to security standards and best practices by reviewing OWASP Top 10, SANS, WASC 40, SDLC, secure coding, and configuration guidelines, and assist in identifying opportunities for improvement.
Participate in cross-functional engagements to support risk management and compliance objectives.
Collaborate with Information Security vendors as needed to support security initiatives.
Leverage strong reporting and analytical skills to create and execute reports that highlight trends and identify opportunities for enhanced oversight activities.

Qualifications and Skills

BE/MCA/B Tech graduate with 10-15 years of Application Security related experience.
Technical security certificates preferred - COMPTIA / CISSP/ any vendor-specific security certifications , etc.
