Application Security Engineer

Role Overview:

Seeking an Application Security Engineer to implement and maintain core security controls across enterprise applications, ensuring compliance, secure access, and strong data protection.

Key Responsibilities:

• - Implement and manage Encryption, Tokenization, and key management for sensitive data.
• - Define and enforce Identity & Access Management controls (authentication, authorization, least privilege).
• - Set up and maintain audit trails, logging, and monitoring aligned with security and audit requirements.
• - Ensure application alignment with compliance frameworks (ISO 27001, SOC2, NIST, GDPR, PCI DSS).
• - Support internal and external audits by providing evidence and resolving findings.
• - Conduct application security reviews, risk assessments, and provide remediation guidance.

Required Skills:

• - Experience in Application Security or Cybersecurity Engineering.
• - Strong understanding of encryption technologies, IAM, logging frameworks, and compliance standards.
• - Familiarity with secure SDLC, OWASP Top 10, and cloud security fundamentals.
