Summary: As an Application Lead for Data Engineering, you will be responsible for leading the effort to design, build, and configure applications using Talend ETL. Your typical day will involve collaborating with cross-functional teams, ensuring the successful delivery of data-driven solutions, and acting as the primary point of contact for the project. 5-9 years experience in data migration (ETL) and load tooling. Managing complex data migrations in PLM deployment projects able to set up the data migration approach and governance (with support of the team, but the lead will be the point of contact and face of the data migration stream Roles & Responsibilities: - Lead the design, development, and implementation of Talend ETL solutions, ensuring the successful delivery of data-driven solutions. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including data scientists, data analysts, and business stakeholders, to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions. - Act as the primary point of contact for the project, ensuring effective communication and collaboration with all stakeholders. - Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior team members, ensuring the successful delivery of high-quality solutions. - Stay updated with the latest advancements in Talend ETL and data engineering, integrating innovative approaches for sustained competitive advantage. Professional & Technical Skills: - Must To Have Skills: Strong experience in Talend ETL. - Must To Have Skills: Experience in designing, developing, and implementing ETL solutions. - Good To Have Skills: Experience with Big Data technologies such as Hadoop, Spark, and Hive. - Good To Have Skills: Experience with cloud-based data platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP. - Strong understanding of data modeling, data warehousing, and data integration concepts. - Experience with SQL and relational databases such as Oracle, MySQL, or SQL Server. Additional Information: - The candidate should have a minimum of 7.5 years of experience in Talend ETL. - The ideal candidate will possess a strong educational background in computer science, information technology, or a related field, along with a proven track record of delivering impactful data-driven solutions. - This position is based at our Pune office.
