Summary: As an Application Lead, you will be responsible for designing, building, and configuring applications, acting as the primary point of contact. Your typical day will involve leading the effort to develop and deploy applications using COBOL and associated technologies. Roles & Responsibilities: - Lead the effort to design, build, and configure applications, acting as the primary point of contact. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and deploy applications using COBOL and associated technologies. - Ensure the quality and integrity of the application by conducting detailed testing and debugging. - Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members to ensure successful project delivery. Professional & Technical Skills: - Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in COBOL. - Good To Have Skills: No Technology Specialization. - Strong understanding of software engineering principles and best practices. - Experience with application development using COBOL and associated technologies. - Solid grasp of testing and debugging techniques to ensure application quality and integrity. Additional Information: - The candidate should have a minimum of 5 years of experience in COBOL. - The ideal candidate will possess a strong educational background in computer science or a related field, along with a proven track record of delivering impactful solutions.
