Summary: As an Application Lead, you will lead the effort to design, build, and configure applications, acting as the primary point of contact. You will be responsible for ensuring the successful delivery of projects and collaborating with cross-functional teams to achieve project goals. Your expertise in Investment Banking and extensive experience in Packaged Application Development will be crucial in driving the development and implementation of innovative solutions. Roles & Responsibilities: - Should have ~20 years of global experience in the Capital Markets/Investment banking domain, - Should have worked across leading investment banking and/or Wealth management systems in varying leadership roles - Core credentials needed - Leading vendor platforms, strong exp in program and project management for multi-systems client engagements, managing financials incl revenue forecast - Strong Capital markets domain and product knowledge across CM asset classes. - Should have contributed towards Proposal development presenting vendor capabilities, - Expected to be a SME with deep knowledge and experience. - Should have Influencing and Advisory skills. - Responsible for team decisions. - Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions. - Expected to provide solutions to problems that apply across multiple teams. - Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and understand business needs. - Lead the design and development of applications, ensuring adherence to coding standards and best practices. - Manage the application development lifecycle, including requirements gathering, testing, and deployment. - Provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members. - Identify and resolve technical issues and challenges. - Stay updated with industry trends and advancements in Investment Banking and Packaged Application Development. - Contribute to the continuous improvement of development processes and methodologies. Professional & Technical Skills: - Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Investment Banking, Packaged Application Development. - Good To Have Skills: Experience with Agile methodologies. - Strong understanding of investment banking processes and workflows. - Experience in designing and implementing scalable and secure applications. - Proficient in programming languages such as Java or C#. - Knowledge of database management systems and SQL. - Familiarity with cloud platforms and technologies. - Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. Additional Information: - The candidate should have a minimum of 15 years of experience in Investment Banking. - This position is based at our Pune office. - A 15 years full-time education is required.
