Summary: As an Application Lead, you will be responsible for leading the effort to design, build, and configure applications using Java Enterprise Edition. Your typical day will involve collaborating with cross-functional teams, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality software solutions, and acting as the primary point of contact for the project. Roles & Responsibilities: - Lead the design, development, and implementation of Java Enterprise Edition-based applications, ensuring adherence to coding standards and best practices. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including business analysts, project managers, and quality assurance teams, to ensure timely delivery of high-quality software solutions. - Act as the primary point of contact for the project, providing technical guidance and support to team members and stakeholders. - Ensure compliance with project specifications, requirements, and timelines, identifying and mitigating risks and issues as needed. - Provide technical leadership and mentorship to team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement. Professional & Technical Skills: - Must To Have Skills: Experience in Retirement, Recordkeeping Industry / Domain - Must To Have Skills: Strong proficiency in Java Enterprise Edition. - Good To Have Skills: Experience with Spring Framework, Hibernate, and Oracle Database. - Solid understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) methodologies, including Agile and Waterfall. - Experience with software design patterns and principles, such as Model-View-Controller (MVC) and Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA). - Experience with source code management tools such as Git and SVN. - Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues and provide effective solutions. Additional Information: - The candidate should have a minimum of 15 years of experience in Java Enterprise Edition. - The ideal candidate will possess a strong educational background in computer science or a related field, along with a proven track record of delivering high-quality software solutions. - This position is based at our Pune office.
