Project Role Description : Lead the effort to design, build and configure applications, acting as the primary point of contact.

Summary: As an Application Lead, you will lead the effort to design, build, and configure applications, acting as the primary point of contact. You will be responsible for ensuring the successful delivery of projects and providing technical guidance to the team. Your typical day will involve collaborating with stakeholders, analyzing requirements, designing solutions, and overseeing the development and implementation of applications. You will also be involved in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues to ensure smooth operations. Roles & Responsibilities: -The Database Administrator (DBA) handles multifunctional database projects. - The DBA administers development/test databases. The DBA is primarily responsible for performing many related database functions across one or more teams. -This may include: designing, implementing and maintaining new databases, backup/recovery and configuration management. - The DBA is able to install database management systems (DBMS); related software tools, and has a working knowledge of operating systems. -The DBA is also able to submit input for modification of procedures and documentation used for problem resolution and day-to-day maintenance. - Expected to perform independently and become an SME. - Required active participation/contribution in team discussions. - Contribute in providing solutions to work-related problems. - Lead the design, development, and implementation of applications. - Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements. - Provide technical guidance and mentorship to the team. - Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues to ensure smooth operations. - Ensure the successful delivery of projects within the defined timelines and budget. - Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies. - Identify areas for process improvement and implement best practices. Professional & Technical Skills: - Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft SQL Database Administration. - Good To Have Skills: Experience with cloud platforms such as Azure or AWS. - Strong understanding of database concepts and SQL query optimization. - Experience in performance tuning and troubleshooting of database systems. - Knowledge of backup and recovery strategies for databases. - Familiarity with database security and access control. - Experience in database migration and upgrade processes. - Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
