Summary: As a Software Development Database Engineer, you will be responsible for analyzing, designing, coding, Scripting, and testing multiple components of application code which interacts with PostGre Database across one or more clients. Roles & Responsibilities: - Analyze, design, code, and test multiple components of PostGre SQL / Oracle PL SQL scripts across one or more clients. - Perform maintenance, enhancements, and/or development work. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize features. - Ensure the code is scalable, maintainable, and meets the requirements of the project. - Lead and mentor a team of PL/SQL Developers in the design, development, and maintenance of applications. - Work with business stakeholders and technical teams to gather and analyze requirements - Perform unit testing and debugging to ensure the quality and reliability of developed applications. - Maintain and enhance existing Scripts by troubleshooting issues, implementing bug fixes, and optimizing performance. - Develop and maintain technical documentation, including system design, coding standards, and user manuals. - Manage the team's workload and ensure that projects are completed on time and within budget. - Delegate tasks and responsibilities to team members and provide regular feedback. - Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices. - Identify and develop the team's strengths and weaknesses and provide opportunities for professional growth Professional & Technical Skills: - Must To Have Skills: Oracle PL/SQL , PostGre SQL - Strong understanding of software development life cycle. Additional Information: - The candidate should have a minimum of 5 years of experience in Oracle PLSQL. - Candidate should be aware of PostGre SQL - Hands on Cursors, Procedure, Function, triggers, Views, Packages, Collections, etc. - Should be able to write complex SQL queries. - The Candidate should have experience in working in Agile teams
