Summary: As an Application Lead, you will be responsible for designing, building, and configuring applications using PySpark. Your typical day will involve leading the effort to design, build, and configure applications, acting as the primary point of contact, and utilizing Big Data Analysis Tool and Techniques to extract insights from large data sets. Roles & Responsibilities: - Lead the effort to design, build, and configure applications using PySpark. - Act as the primary point of contact for the project, collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery. - Utilize Big Data Analysis Tool and Techniques to extract insights from large data sets. - Develop and maintain technical documentation, including design documents, user manuals, and test plans. - Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members, ensuring adherence to best practices and standards. Professional & Technical Skills: - Must To Have Skills: Experience with Big Data Analysis Tool and Techniques, specifically PySpark. - Must To Have Skills: Strong understanding of database concepts and experience with SQL or PostgreSQL. - Good To Have Skills: Experience with other Big Data Analysis Tool and Techniques. - Good To Have Skills: Experience with software development methodologies, including Agile and Waterfall. - Good To Have Skills: Familiarity with cloud computing platforms Azure. Additional Information: - The candidate should have a minimum of 5-6 years of experience in PySpark and Python with SQL.
