Summary: As an Application Lead, you will lead the effort to design, build, and configure applications, acting as the primary point of contact. You will be responsible for overseeing the entire application development process and ensuring its successful implementation. Your role will involve collaborating with cross-functional teams, providing technical guidance, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality applications. Roles & Responsibilities: - Expected to be a SME with deep knowledge and experience. - Should have Influencing and Advisory skills. - Responsible for team decisions. - Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions. - Expected to provide solutions to problems that apply across multiple teams. - Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and understand business needs. - Lead the design and development of applications, ensuring adherence to coding standards and best practices. - Provide technical guidance and mentorship to the development team. - Oversee the testing and deployment of applications, ensuring their functionality and performance. - Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues that arise during the development and implementation process. Professional & Technical Skills: - Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Sybase Database. - Strong understanding of database design principles and data modeling. - Experience in writing complex SQL queries and stored procedures. - Knowledge of performance tuning and optimization techniques for database systems. - Experience with database administration tasks, such as backup and recovery. - Good To Have Skills: Experience with Oracle Database. - Familiarity with other relational database management systems (RDBMS). - Experience with data migration and integration processes. Additional Information: - Require Sybase Database Architect - The candidate should have a minimum of 15 years of experience in Sybase Database. - This position is based in Mumbai. - A 15 years full-time education is required.
