Summary: As an Application Lead, you will lead the effort to design, build, and configure applications, acting as the primary point of contact. You will be responsible for ensuring timely delivery, budget adherence, and stakeholder satisfaction through effective project management and coordination. Your typical day will involve leading the team, overseeing the application development process, and collaborating with stakeholders to understand their requirements and provide solutions. Roles & Responsibilities: - Expected to be a SME with deep knowledge and experience. - Should have Influencing and Advisory skills. - Responsible for team decisions. - Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions. - Expected to provide solutions to problems that apply across multiple teams. - Lead the team in designing, building, and configuring applications. - Act as the primary point of contact for stakeholders. - Collaborate with stakeholders to understand their requirements and provide solutions. - Oversee the application development process. - Ensure timely delivery, budget adherence, and stakeholder satisfaction. - Coordinate with team members to ensure smooth project execution. - Provide guidance and support to team members. - Stay updated with industry trends and best practices. - Identify and mitigate risks and issues. - Ensure compliance with project management standards and methodologies. Professional & Technical Skills: - Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Workday Core HCM, Program Project Management, Workday Project Management (PM). - Good To Have Skills: Experience with [GOOD TO HAVE SKILLS]. - Strong understanding of Workday Core HCM and its functionalities. - Experience in program and project management. - Knowledge of Workday Project Management (PM) tools and methodologies. - Excellent leadership and communication skills. - Ability to collaborate and coordinate with cross-functional teams. - Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
