Summary: As an Application Lead, you will be responsible for leading the effort to design, build, and configure applications, acting as the primary point of contact. Your typical day will involve utilizing your expertise in AWS Architecture, Delivery Excellence, and Data Engineering to ensure the successful delivery of projects. Roles & Responsibilities: - Lead the design, development, and implementation of AWS Architecture-based solutions for complex business problems. - Ensure delivery excellence by managing project timelines, budgets, and resources, while maintaining high-quality standards. - Provide technical leadership and mentorship to the team, ensuring adherence to best practices and standards for data engineering and application development. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve technical issues, ensuring seamless integration of applications with other systems. - Act as the primary point of contact for clients, providing regular updates on project status and addressing any concerns or issues that arise. Professional & Technical Skills: - Must To Have Skills: Expertise in AWS Architecture and Delivery Excellence. - Must To Have Skills: Strong background in Data Engineering. - Experience in leading the design and development of complex applications using AWS services such as EC2, S3, Lambda, and RDS. - Experience in designing and implementing data pipelines using tools such as Apache Spark, Kafka, and Hadoop. - Strong understanding of software development methodologies, including Agile and Waterfall. - Experience in managing project timelines, budgets, and resources. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate technical information to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Additional Information: - The candidate should have a minimum of 12 years of experience in AWS Architecture and Data Engineering. - The ideal candidate will possess a strong educational background in computer science, software engineering, or a related field, along with a proven track record of delivering successful projects. - This position is based at our Kolkata office.
