Summary: As a Microsoft SQL Server Database Administrator, you will be responsible for designing, building, and configuring applications. You will act as the primary point of contact and lead the effort to ensure the smooth functioning of the applications. Your typical day will involve working with SQL Server, monitoring database performance, and ensuring data security. Roles & Responsibilities: - Lead the effort to design, build, and configure applications, acting as the primary point of contact. - Ensure the smooth functioning of the applications by monitoring database performance and ensuring data security. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve database-related issues. - Develop and implement database backup and recovery strategies to ensure data availability and integrity. - Optimize database performance by tuning queries, indexes, and other database objects. Professional & Technical Skills: - Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft SQL Server Database Administration. - Good To Have Skills: Experience with other database technologies such as Oracle or MySQL. - Strong understanding of database architecture and design principles. - Experience with database backup and recovery strategies. - Experience with database performance tuning techniques. - Solid grasp of database security concepts and best practices. Additional Information: - The candidate should have a minimum of 3 years of experience in Microsoft SQL Server Database Administration. - The ideal candidate will possess a strong educational background in computer science or a related field, along with a proven track record of delivering impactful data-driven solutions. - This position is based at our Gurugram office.
