Summary: As an Application Lead, you will lead the effort to design, build, and configure applications, acting as the primary point of contact. You will be responsible for managing the team and ensuring successful project delivery. Your typical day will involve collaborating with multiple teams, making key decisions, and providing solutions to problems for your immediate team and across multiple teams. Roles & Responsibilities: -Demonstrable experience working with API Management - including Open API Specs, API Gateways (preferably Kong) and API portals. -Strong track record in a Senior Engineering capacity working in a public cloud environment either in AWS or Azure. -Able to deploy, monitor and maintain the API Gateway and Service Mesh Platforms that connect systems together. -Undertake any other tasks assigned by your manager that you have the capability to perform safely in line with relevant internal Group policies and external regulatory requirements. -The ability to analyze complex technical requirements, review architecture documents and solution design, and determine appropriate test automation approach and best engineering practices based on technical design Professional & Technical Skills: Must Have Skills: Kong API, AWS Good to Have Skills: Service Virtualization in a complex environment using NodeJS, Experience in API Test Automation -Sound understanding of REST APIs & their development - including creation of Open API specifications. Strong experience with JavaScript (or preferably Typescript) for both front and back-end development. -Experience with foundational AWS services (EC2, ECS, Lambda, S3, Secrets Manager, etc.). -Experience using Configuration as Code to manage your application configuration. -Experience with source control systems (Git) and with CI/CD tools. -An understanding of Kong API Gateway or any API Gateway would be beneficial but not essential. Additional Information: - The candidate should have a minimum of 5 years of experience in DevOps - This position is based at our Bengaluru office - A 15-year full-time education is required
